My areas of expertise:

  • Account and project management.
  • Support the creation of media strategies.
  • Brand strategy and marketing efforts.
  • Brand research.
  • Content development.
  • Social messaging.
  • Customer and trend research.
  • Brand positioning.
  • Brand business objectives.
  • Create and execute marketing initiatives.

It’s Clobberin’ Time!

Let’s get this ‘Thing’ started.

I am excited to join the Nerds to help establish superb customer-client relationships and make the flow of communication between the Nerds and the clients as smooth and transparent as possible.

Also, I feel a strong sense of camaraderie among the Nerds, and I am especially excited to work with a group of individuals who not only carry an abundance of expertise but also a passion for how to detect satisfactory branding strategies for organizations.

Communication is key and the foundation of relationship-building.

I have a passion to instill proper communication skills that ignites reciprocal business rapport.

With great communication comes great power, and, in the words of Ben Parker,  “with great power, comes great responsibility.”

As a new Nerd, I feel it is necessary to share my appreciation towards nerd culture.

I am a BIG fan of the Marvel Universe. I grew up watching Marvel movies with my older brother. The first Marvel movie I remember seeing in theaters was Spider-Man 3 with Tobey Maguire, and all I aspired to be since then was to become Ms. Mary Jane Watson.

I went as far as having my friends call me ‘MJ’ to abbreviate my name from Mikayla Joan, and approximately 15 years later, dying my hair red. As a result, no one has called me ‘MJ’ in 12 years, and everyone tells me I give off Natasha Romanoff vibes (aka Black Widow).

My secret nerd life

When I am not working nor portraying to be fictional characters, I embrace my eclectic taste in music by attending shows and festivals; I enjoy being active and engaging in outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, and kayaking; and lastly, I love trying new things and going on adventures with my friends whether that be starting a new show on Netflix or trying out a new restaurant and subsequently taking a stroll at a nearby park or neighborhood.
