What is Branded Search?
Any query (or search) you enter into Google that uses your company name, it’s a branded search. This is a form of search – because it’s an audience aware of you.
Why care about branded search?
Because it’s a part of managing your brand and what people say and think of when they think of you. Do you want to be thought of for something you do not do? Google search changes all the time because people change search behaviors, and purchase habits.
When building a business, it’s important to include in your strategy “branded search”.
However, avoid the temptation to “go SEO” or “please Google”. Make great, and interesting content first.
