Thank you for your interest in contributing to the blog!

We’re more than happy to welcome new writers with fresh perspectives to the table, but before submitting your guest post, there are a few guidelines and suggestions for getting your post accepted at NerdBrand!

influencer marketing

What you’ll receive

Increased influence and authority in the digital and social media marketing space.

Posts will potentially be re-published on Business2Community, allowing you to reach a larger audience.

Promotion to our email subscribers and social media followers.

Two to three backlinks within the body of your guest post, if the links are very relevant to the content of your post and overall context of NerdBrand. Whether these will be follow or nofollow is up to our discretion and dependent upon what you’re linking to.

Exclusive Rights

For search engine ranking reasons, guest blog posts published here may not be re-published elsewhere, unless otherwise agreed upon. This applies only to blog posts. If you would like to re-purpose your post into a video, eBook, etc., that’s no problem.

Reader Audience

The audience of NerdBrand is small business owners, and B2B, who need practical, budget-conscious strategies, tips, and tools to implement marketing into their businesses. These are people who need help with staying organized (content and editorial calendars), understanding their target audience, producing compelling social media content, measuring the ROI of their efforts, and so on.

They’re primarily people short on time, with reasonable marketing budgets, and they need to see marketing results as quickly as possible.

Guest Post Length

While we don’t enforce a specific word count, I find that most valuable blog posts land in the range of 600+ words. Write the amount that you need to share a compelling message.

Author Attribution

We want to help those who write for NerdBrand, so please include a byline and headshot (optional) when submitting your post. This will appear at the end of the post. A byline is:

One to three short sentences introducing yourself and telling readers how they can connect with you.

Sample byline: Tim Timmy is a [job position/title] at [blog or company name], where he [job description]. Connect with Tim on [social account] and grab his [newsletter/free report]!
